Been keeping busy at Studio Post the last while and some of my work went live this week. I did the design for the new AMPIA brand and built their website along with Sam Toms. Bill Evans and Josh Miller were really receptive to our ideas and the site went up without any glitches!
In related news, the launch coincided with announcement of the Finalists for Alberta Film & Television Awards and a couple projects I had a hand in got some props.
“The Corrupted” from I’m With Hobo Productions was nominated for Best Dramatic and others. I did several effects for the show. Most fell under the category of “paint fix”, but there were a few labeled “Vomit Spew” that made me giggle!
“iClarify” was nominated for Best Promotional. This was a co-production between Studio Post and Incite Marketing. It was a really fun project to work on. They wanted a cinematic look reminiscent of “Minority Report” and “Enemy of the State” and I had a lot of licence to come up with a solution. My audio buddy Jesse Luce provided the killer music and sound effects.
