I love the game of Hockey, and specifically the Edmonton Oilers. This woodburning depicts one of Sam Gagner’s dazzling shoot out goals during his rookie season. Beyond capturing the moment I wanted to focus on getting good tonal values. This was made with my first hobby burner so I had no temperature control.
