Pyrography on Pine. 8.5 x 11

The classic King Skull image from the classic Album by the classic Band. This piece is an entirely literal translation of the original art by Hugh Syme. It was a gift to my big brother who introduced me to Rush as a kid. They remain our mutually favorite all time band.

In terms of pyrography, the significant note is the heavy black space. There is no shortcut that I know of to fill in all that black area. But a good solution is to put on your favorite music and burn away!
