One of the larger pieces I’ve burnt, this one looks really nice in person. I spent a lot of time looking at wolves, concentrating on getting the fur right. This composition was made up of several different reference photos. I decided to relief carve around the wolves and make a ridged background texture. Depending on the light you see varying highlights and shadows, but the wolves always “pop”.
